Children's Sunday School
We offer two Sunday school options for children. Preschool-age children ages 4, 5 & 6 have a class just for them and children age 7 up through 11 will meet together in a separate class. We are thankful for this ministry to help our young children to learn and grow in biblical truths!
We use a curriculum called Generations of Grace from the ministry of Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, California. The curriculum provides age-appropriate Bible lessons and learning activities that are both fun and spiritually rich. The Sunday school classes begin following our worship music (about 10:45 am). Each lesson will focus on the character of God, the work of Christ, and the importance of living a life of obedience to Him. We accomplish this by presenting and stressing the whole counsel of God (Acts 20:27). We strive to demonstrate to children the unity, consistency, and sufficiency of the Scriptures for their lives. Over a three-year period, this curriculum covers the Old Testament historical books, the life of Christ, and lessons from Acts and Revelation. Our Sunday school is led by teachers who are committed to communicating the truth of God's Word clearly and applicationally in order to magnify and emphasize the Gospel message. We consider teaching the Word of God to children a privilege and our time in His Word with them a blessing. Sunday-school aged children are always welcome to remain in our regular worship service in lieu of Sunday school if parents so desire. Our goal as a church body is to come alongside parents in fulfilling the command "to tell the generation to come the praises of the Lord and His strength and His wondrous works that He has done . . . that the generation to come might know them, the children who would be born, that they may arise and declare them to their children" (Psalm 78:4, 6). So whether you choose to send your child(ren) to our Sunday school or have them remain for the duration of our worship service with you, we support your decision! We want to be an encouragement to parents in their call to raise their children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. * PSS = Preschool Sunday School: ages 4, 5 & 6 * JSS = Junior Sunday School: ages 7 thru age 11 **All Sunday school teachers are required to pass a background check. |

They consider it a joy to serve and minister to the children of Faith Bible Church. Your children will be faithfully taught the Word of God with a gospel-centered approach each Sunday. We encourage our Sunday school children to bring their Bibles!
